Shrink wrapping a boat involves encasing it in a specialized plastic film then heat-sealing it tightly to create a protective cover. This process shields the boat from weather, UV rays, and debris during winter storage or transportation, preserving its condition while not in use.

Winterizing your motor involves preparing it for the colder months or extended periods of inactivity to prevent damage caused by freezing temperatures. We typically drain the engine of all oil (lower unit and main), replace the existing oil filter and refill, stabilize the fuel to prevent degradation, add antifreeze to the livewell, check spark plugs for any residue and fog the cylinders, remove the propeller and clean any fishing line or debris, grease all pivot points and disconnect the battery. Winterizing ensures that the motor is properly preserved and protected during the off-season, allowing for smoother operation when it's brought back into use.
